Many properties include Jacuzzi tubs and saunas additionally some include a private barbeque area for intimate dining. Maid service is also available for a small additional fee at many holiday locations.
Corsica is home to many gorgeous beaches, and in the summer it is the perfect place for sunbathing, swimming or just walking along the beach. The beach at Cargese is particularly nice, with beaches and rocky boasts north and south of its harbour. After the sun sets, visitors can stay on the beach and enjoy a dessert or drink from one of the seaside restaurants or bars.
Corsica offers many wonderful sites for visitors; many of which are in walking distance of one another. Near Plage Peru sits a long, empty strip of land with an old Genovese watch tower on the end. It makes a nice walk in good weather, and takes about an hour and a half to get there from town.
Visitors can enjoy fine dining at one of Corsica's seaside restaurants. Corsica's cuisine has both French and Italian influences and offers unique dishes to its visitors. Many meals in corporate chestnuts, boar meat, and uniquely flavoured olive oil, that is locally made. Porto-Vecchio offers many excellent restaurants with views overlooking its harbour.
In Ajaccio, visitors can tour the house of Napoleon, which is now open as a museum. At Bastia's Vieux Port, tall, historic buildings border a marina. Vieux Port has many upscale seafood restaurants, where visitors can enjoy the view of the port while dining on fresh seafood.
The Citadel in Calvi features cobbled streets, art galleries and quaint shops. L'Eglise Santa Maria, also known as the “Big Pink Church,” is an old-style Catholic church which is a popular destination for many tourists. Diving tours can be booked at Calvi's Marina to explore Corsica's colorful sea corals.
